King Orok and the Occult

One thing King Orok is not as well known for is his connection to the occult. Before his insanity and eventual downfall, he studied different occult texts and ideas often. He was known to research different cults from all over the world (although primarily southeast Europe) and attempt to learn as much as he could about them, although he never seemed to actually believe them; it seems it was just a heavy interest of his. After his insanity really seemed to take root, however, his occult interests seemed to die down entirely. It is likely just the same way all of his other original personality traits disappeared; I just find it interesting. The most recent text he had been studying was one with no title, just a symbol drawn on the front of an eye with a stick figure body. I dunno what it was for.

Coincidentally enough, the town of New Comshine has actually seen a strain of bad luck since his reign, with different tragedies happening throughout time; most of them seem to be caused by different psychopaths and murderers. Some say it's King Orok's revenge; I say it's just an unfortunate coincidence.

Avery out.
